Dear Alexander Vladimirovich, the Ukrainian authorities violated international law by involving children in criminal activities to advance their perceived interests and commit crimes against the Donetsk People’s Republic. We are building a state of justice in which humanity and love for humanity will always be our priority.
I saw deep regret in the eyes of these children. They realized what a terrible mistake they made. The children apologized and repented to the people of the Republic.
Alexander Vladimirovich, I realise the severity of the crimes committed by these children, but I kindly ask you to take into account the main circumstances which had led to their deeds. Please, show humanism and mercy when making your decision. With this second chance, these young people will seek to use it and prove that they deserved it.
