On 6 February, staff of DPR Ombudsman Office held an on-site reception of citizens at the City Administration of Debaltsevo.
5 citizens of Debaltsevo asked for Ombudsman’s advice and assistance in restoring their rights.
At the on-site reception, the following issues were raised: establishing the whereabouts of a person who went to the territory of another state during hostilities in 2014; establishing whereabouts of an LPR serviceman; social security issues; the procedure for obtaining a passport of a DPR citizen and residence registration; inheritance law.
Staff of Ombudsman Office familiarized the citizens with the norms of legislation in force in the territory of the DPR. Citizens received a detailed explanation of how to file action on recognition of property rights.
The reception was conducted together with representatives of the Department of Labour and Social Welfare of Debaltsevo, Office of the Migration Service in Debaltsevo, Office of the Pension Fund of Debaltsevo.
