The Ukrainian side continues deliberately delaying the issue of exchange of war prisoners. Chairman of the People’s Council of the DPR Denis Pushilin told about this today, on October 14, within the scope of the plenary session of the Republic’s Parliament.
“We have not received a clear answer to the offer concerning the exchange. Darya Morozova sent an updated list of illegally detained persons to representatives of the subgroup on humanitarian affairs and straight to the Ukrainian side,” the plenipotentiary of the Republic stated.
In addition, Denis Pushilin stressed that the Donetsk People’s Republic regarding the issue of exchange of war prisoners still adheres to the Minsk agreements, “On our part, we are doing everything possible to ensure that the proposed exchange option is implemented as soon as possible, Ukraine simply delays this matter.”
