On Friday, August 19, in Shakhtersk, volunteer psychologists of the DPR Human Rights Ombudsman Office and animators organised a celebration of Savior of the Apple Feast Day for refugee children living in a local temporary accommodation centre. As part of the event, 25 children were given presents.
We recall that since the beginning of the military conflict, 8477 people were registered as internally displaced persons in the Republic, including 2181 children under 18.
