Dear citizens, I extend my good wishes to you on the Labour Protection Day!
Building a culture of labour protection is an important task, which requires joint efforts of state authorities, employers and workers to ensure safe working conditions for the health of workers and the environment. This is especially true for Donbass – an inherently industrial region with a high concentration of facilities of increased danger.
Part 3 of Article 30 of the Constitution of the Donetsk People’s Republic enshrines the right of every citizen to right to working conditions consistent with the requirements of safety and hygiene. The legal framework is actively developing, covering the rights and obligations of all concerned, which gives the highest priority to prevention of violations and improving the working culture. The complex of measures implemented helps to reduce occupational injuries, ensure decent working conditions and raise the standards of living.
I wish you good health, happiness and prosperity. May strict compliance, attentiveness and discipline serve as a reliable basis for the safety and security of workers in Donbass.
