REPRESENTATIVES OF OMBUDSMAN’S OFFICE HELD ON-SITE RECEPTION OF CITIZENS IN VOLNOVAKHA

News

The Office of the Human Rights Ombudsman in the DPR continues its human rights activities in Volnovakha. Yesterday, on May 17, representatives of the Ombudsman held an on-site reception of citizens in the city.

This format of work is extremely important and in demand by the population. It allows applicants to personally ask questions to representatives of the human rights institution of the Republic, without wasting time and money on a transport. In turn, this contributes to the establishment of a dialogue between the community and the state, as well as increases the efficiency of work aimed at protecting and restoring the violated rights and freedoms of citizens in the liberated territories of the Republic.

During the reception, the residents raised the topical issues of restoring lost documents, providing humanitarian assistance and issuing social benefits.

In addition, in the course of communication with local residents, the staff of the Office recorded new evidence of war crimes of the AFU against the civilian population of the city.

It should be noted that a similar experience of the work of the Republican Human Rights Institute will spread to all the liberated territories of the DPR.
