Unfortunately, full ceasefire stipulated by the “Easter truce” hasn’t been observed. Population of the Republic still suffers from provocative fire of Ukrainian forces.
On March 25, as a result of hostilities in Novoazovsk region, DPR servicemen born in 1997 and 1966 were wounded. It was also reported about a 40-year-old DPR serviceman, who was wounded on March 28 as a result of shelling in Petrovskiy district of Donetsk.
Between 23 and 29 March, 5 persons died. Among them, there were 4 DPR servicemen and one civilian woman that was fatally wounded on 25 March as a result of shelling in Gorlovka.
Between January 1 and March 29, 2018, 47 persons were wounded as a result of shelling by Ukrainian forces. Among them, there are 37 DPR servicemen of the Republic, 6 civilian men and 4 civilian women; 32 persons died, including 30 servicemen and 2 civilians.
Since the beginning of the armed conflict, 4599 persons died. Among them, there are 606 women and 3993 men, including 76 children under eighteen.
