Three appeals on arrest received by DPR Ombudsman Office

Last week, the Human Rights Ombudsman Office in the Donetsk People’s Republic received three complaints on the arrest of people by the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.

All the detainees are men. One of them had been detained in November 2017 in Kiev, and another two men – in Maryinka and Slaviansk in March and May 2018, correspondingly.

According to the latest data, the Ukrainian side holds 280 persons, including 85 of those, whose presence in the territory of Ukraine has been confirmed, and 195 of those, whose whereabouts are unknown or being clarified by the Ukrainian side.
