On 31 August, staff of Human Rights Ombudsman Office in the DPR attended a plenary meeting of the autumn session of the DPR People’s Council. There were five important bills on the agenda.
The deputies discussed and adopted the bills “On Amending the Law of the Donetsk People’s Republic No. 13-IHC of 20.02.2015 “On Citizens’ Appeals”; “On Amending Article 7 of the Law of the Donetsk People’s Republic No. 140-IHC of 24.06.2016; “On Freedom of Religion and Religious Associations”; “On the status of judges”; “On the judicial system of the Donetsk People’s Republic”; “On the Prosecutor’s Office.”
The above-mentioned bills will be sent for signature to the ad interim Head of the DPR and come into force after publication on the official website of the People’s Council.
