The DPR Human Rights Ombudsman received a complaint from a serviceman born in 1989 with a request to provide legal protection and assistance in addressing international organizations. In order to influence the DPR serviceman, his relatives living in the territory temporarily controlled by Ukrainian authorities, were repeatedly subjected to moral and psychological pressure and threats of illegal persecution by staff of the Security Service of Ukraine.
On the basis of the complaint, the staff of the Office submitted official letters to UN human rights representatives, to the OSCE, and to the Ombudsman of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Valeriya Lutkovskaya.
