Last week Ukrainian forces again violated ceasefire in the areas near the contact line.
Between 25 and 31 May, three DPR servicemen were wounded in the territory of the DPR as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian side.
On May 26 as a result of hostilities in the vicinity of Debaltsevo, a 22-year-old DPR serviceman sustained gunshot perforating wound to the right thigh. On May 30 another DPR serviceman sustained shrapnel wounds to the soft tissue of the shoulder and of the head in Avdeyevka industrial zone. Also, as a result of shelling in Kominternovo village, Novoazovsk region, a DPR serviceman born in 1988 sustained multiple shrapnel wounds to forearms and right shin.
Within the specified period 6 DPR servicemen died in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Between 1 January and 31 May 2018, 148 people were wounded in the DPR as a result of the armed aggression by Ukraine. This number of victims includes 92 DPR servicemen, 36 civilian men, 19 civilian women and one underage child. 74 persons were killed, including 63 DPR servicemen, 7 civilian men and 4 civilian women.
Since the beginning of the conflict, 4641 persons died: 610 women and 4031 men, including 76 underage children.
