On February 2, an on-site reception of citizens was held in the public reception of the administration of Khartsyzsk by representatives of the Office of Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
In the course of the reception, citizens of the Republic, who applied, raised acute issues of the status of internally displaced persons, as well as the procedure of registration of inheritance rights.
Human rights workers provided all applicants with explanations concerning the norms of the current legislation, as well as means, methods and forms of protection of their rights and freedoms. Also, assistance was provided in the preparation of written appeals, which will be considered by the Ombudsman within the competence.
On-site receptions make it possible to have a substantive conversation with applicants and promptly settle existing problematic issues.
