Today, September 7, on the eve of the 74th anniversary of liberation of Donbass from Nazi invaders DPR residents rallied near Saur-Mogila memorial. Citizens of our state came to pay tribute to heroes of the Motherland and lay flowers to the Eternal Flame. During the rally, the participants mourned the fallen soldiers of the Great Patriotic War and those our time, observing a minute of silence.
Chief Administrator of the DPR Ombudsman’s Office Dmitriy Popov also visited Saur-Mogila memorial where he laid flowers and paid tribute to defenders of Donbass.
“Day of Liberation of Donbass is a remarkable date for citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic. This is the Day of memory to heroes of the Motherland and their heroic feat.
Dear veterans, we are grateful to you! You are the embodiment and the best example of true love to the native land. Donbass people will always remember their heroes! I wish all residents of the Republic good health, high spirits and peaceful skies over our Motherland,” said Dmitriy Popov.
