The cruelty with which the Kyiv militants treat prisoners of war is not new. Since 2014, we have recorded numerous cases of torture, beatings and inhuman treatment of citizens held in Ukrainian torture chambers. However, with the beginning of the SMO, representatives of the AFU basically forgot about the existence of such concepts as humanism, international humanitarian law, and finally lost their human appearance.
It is difficult to comment on the video of the execution of soldiers who surrendered in the settlement of Makeyevka in the Luhansk direction without using inappropriate language. The execution of unarmed and immobilized men… It is another example of the fact that Ukraine is a terrorist state, and its militants are not warriors, but unprincipled and cold-blooded killers.
It is significant that in this case we are not dealing with the national battalions, but with ordinary servicemen of the Ukrainian army. It is they who, being captured by our fighters, say the same things that they were forced to take up arms and count on special attitude.
I officially turned to the UN and the ICRC on the fact of the publication of this video and expect an objective investigation. In the event that the authenticity of the footage is confirmed, we demand a proper response of the international human rights community to the egregious war crime committed by representatives of the AFU.
