Based on the results of the inspection, the Head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Fiona Frazer expressed no complaints about the conditions of detention of Ukrainian prisoners of war in a prison in Makeevka.

“Ms. Frazer has no claims to the detention conditions of Ukrainian prisoners of war, later we will see more details in the UN report,” said Daria Morozova.

She noted that Ukrainian prisoners are held in cells of two to three people. They have three meals a day and daily four-hour walks. In addition, the prisoners handed over letters to their relatives through Ms. Frazer.

Today Fiona Frazer and the DPR Ombudsman visited a prison in Makeevka, where 31 prisoners of war are held.
