Today, on 10 April, Coordinator of the Humanitarian Subgroup of the Contact Group on peaceful settlement in Donbass, OSCE Ambassador Tony Frisch opened the meeting in Minsk with a report on his visit to the territory of Ukraine that involved interviewing detainees.
The OSCE representative said he wasn’t allowed to three penitentiaries, so he could only visit six persons.
I would like to note that Tony Frisch visited DPR penitentiaries last week, where he conducted confidential interviews with convicts. He was satisfied with detention conditions and noted that detainees are treated correctly. He thanked authorities of the Donetsk People’s Republic for that.
