Today, May 8, on the eve of the celebration of the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic gathered in the place of the memorial complex Saur-Mogila to pay tribute to the deceased heroes of the Motherland. Residents of the Republic laid flowers on the monument and honored the memory of the dead soldiers observing a minute of silence. Ombudsman Daria Morozova and the Chief Administrator of the Ombudsman’s Office, Dmitry Popov, also visited the Saur-Mogila memorial complex where they laid flowers and honored the memory of defenders of the Motherland.
