Statement of plenipotentiary representative of Donetsk in humanitarian subgroup Daria Morozova on the eve of the Minsk meeting

Comments and statements of the Ombudsman News

Tomorrow, November 29, a meeting of the humanitarian subgroup in Minsk format will take place. It is planned to discuss the exchange of prisoners, the return of documents to persons who had been released earlier, as well as the issue of joint search for missing persons.

Attention will be paid to the current humanitarian situation in Travnevoye and Gladosovo settlements, occupied by members of the Ukrainian battalion Aidar in violation of the Minsk agreements.

At the meeting, the issue of searching for missing persons will be discussed. Let me remind you that the road map developed jointly with the International Committee of the Red Cross has long been ready. But because of the groundless arguments of official Kiev regarding the inclusion of third parties, it is still impossible to start its implementation.

The exchange of prisoners under the formula “all confirmed for all confirmed” remains critical. I hope that we will be able to come to an agreement with representatives of the Ukrainian side and start the process of releasing the detained persons.

For our part, we will do everything possible to ensure that our guys return home, to their families as soon as possible.
