Decree of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic dated May 4, 2022 No. 181 approved the Procedure for granting a one-time payment to veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in the Donetsk People’s Republic in connection with the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
A one-time payment to veterans of the Great Patriotic War is made in the amount of 10,000 Russian roubles.
According to the regulatory legal act, the following persons have the right to receive a lump-sum payment:
– combatants, invalids of the Great Patriotic War of the period from June 22, 1941 to May 9, 1945, as well as the war with Japan from August 09, 1945 to September 03, 1945 and persons awarded the medal “For the Defence of Leningrad” or “For the Defence of Sevastopol” or the sign “Inhabitant of besieged Leningrad”;
– participants of the war;
– persons from among the former juvenile prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, other places of detention (who at the time of imprisonment were under 14 years old), recognized as disabled from a general illness, labour injury and other reasons, which is confirmed by a certificate or a corresponding document located in the pension case.
A one-time payment is made in the period from 07 to 31 May 2022 inclusive, which will be made through:
— The DPR Central Republican Bank by transferring funds to the current accounts of the recipients opened in the bank, transactions on which are carried out using electronic means of payment (payment card), used to pay pensions, social benefits and other payments.
— DPR GUP “POST OF DONBASS” by handing over cash directly to the recipient or his/her representative acting on the basis of a power of attorney.
The DPR Pension Fund, their departments form and submit to the DPR Ministry of Labour and Social Policy lists of recipients of a lump sum payment from among the persons registered with them.
Please note that a person who has the right to receive a lump sum payment, but is not included in the list of recipients of a lump sum payment, has the right to apply independently to the labour department at the place of registration until May 25, 2022 with an application and documents confirming the right to receive a lump sum payment.
It should be noted that this Decree extends its effect to legal relations that arose from April 30, 2022.
