Today, on 7 September, on the Eve of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Donbass from German-fascist invaders, DPR citizens gathered near the Saur-Mogila memorial complex to pay tribute to fallen heroes of the Motherland and lay flowers to the eternal flame.
Staff of the DPR Ombudsman Office also participated in the solemn event and congratulated veterans – participants of the heroic battles. During the Republican rally, people paid tribute to the memory of fallen soldiers of the Great Patriotic War and heroes of our time who laid their lives for the free future of the Republic observing a minute of silence.
“The Day of liberation of Donbass is a big day for all residents of the Donetsk region. This is a memory of courageous soldiers who stayed dedicated to their Homeland, protecting it with their lives. Thank you, Veterans! Memory Eternal to Heroes!” said DPR Ombudsman Daria Morozova.
