Today, July 6, in the library named after N.K. Krupskaia, there was a presentation of the poetry collection “Soul of Donbass”. The collection includes poems and prose by Donetsk and Kuban authors devoted to patriotism, heroism and strength of Donbass people. The presentation was held as part of the international volunteer psychological campaign “Support the heroic Donbass”.

The event was supported by the Office of the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Committee on patriotic, aesthetic and moral education of the population of the Political Council of the Krasnodar local branch of the “United Russia” Party and the Krasnodar Regional Public Organization for Interaction of Veterans and Youth “Unity of Generations”.

“Donbass has a soul, which is multinational. I thank everyone who took active part in the creation of this collection,” Olga Parfinenko, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the DPR, said at the presentation.

Support for the release of this collection was provided by the Human Rights Ombudsman of the Donetsk People’s Republic Daria Morozova. “The image of the heroic Donbass praised by our poets will remain in history. Today, history repeated itself and naturally we did the same as our ancestors during the Great Patriotic War. This collection will glorify our valiant Donbass and its courageous people,” said Alexander Maltsev, representative of the Human Rights Ombudsman Office.

A famous psychologist and public figure Inna Silenok told the details of the creation of this collection.

“The idea to prepare such a collection emerged during our work in orphanages, when I brought here volunteer psychologists from Russia,” Inna Silenok noted.

This collection was released in a limited edition and will be distributed in public libraries of the DPR and the Russian Federation. The presentation of the collection in Russia will be held July 12 in the city of Krasnodar.
