Sixteen citizens wounded within a week

Ukrainian forces continue to violate ceasefire, causing casualties among civilians and servicemen. The issue is often raised at the meetings of contact groups in Minsk, but our citizens still die from shelling by the Ukrainian military. Unfortunately, last week it was reported about new victims to the conflict.

Between 13 and 19 April 2018, 16 persons were wounded in the territory of the Republic as a result of armed aggression by the Ukrainian side. 8 of the victims are DPR servicemen, 5 of them are civilian men, and 3 of them are civilian women. Within the specified period, 2 DPR servicemen died.

In total, since the beginning of 2018, 88 persons, including 61 DPR servicemen, 18 civilian men, and 9 civilian women, sustained wounds of various severity as a result of hostilities in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Since the beginning of the armed conflict, 4607 persons, including 606 women, 4001 men and 76 underage children, died in the DPR.
