According to the schedule of visits to institutions providing social services, human rights workers audited the living conditionals, social amenities and provision of medical care to citizens that are in Donetsk Residential Centre for Elderly and Disabled Persons with Geriatric Care Department.
This institution provides in-patient social and other services, in particular, the provision of appropriate conditions for the permanent residence of citizens of pensionable age, and disabled people of I and II groups who need nursing care and assistance for health reasons.
Following the audit the positive work of the entire staff of the Residential Centre was noted. Human rights workers highly appreciated the material support of the facility, thanks to which citizens have everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Also, the administration of the institution regularly provides assistance in resolving issues of providing wards with the necessary documents in case of their loss or damage, registration or extension of the corresponding disability group.
Representatives of the Ombudsman express their gratitude to the Director of the Residential Centre and the entire staff for the conscientious performance of their duties.
