On February 16, in the public reception of the administration of the city of Yasinovataya, an on-site reception of citizens was held by representatives of the Office of the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
In the course of the reception, the residents raised topical issues of documenting a citizen of the Donetsk People’s Republic with a passport, as well as crossing the state border.
All applicants were given explanations by human rights workers about the norms of the current legislation, as well as about the means, methods and forms of protection of their rights and freedoms. In addition, assistance was provided in the preparation of written appeals, which will be considered by the Ombudsman within the competence.
On-site receptions allow citizens to communicate with representatives of the Ombudsman, as well as to receive legal assistance without leaving their settlement. In this regard, we recommend that you follow the official website of the Ombudsman for information on holding receptions in various cities and districts of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
