As part of the consideration of complaints, staff of DPR Ombudsman’s Office interviewed four persons, who are in custody of Donetsk Remand Prison of the State Service of State Penitentiary Service of the DPR Ministry of Justice.
The remand prisoners raised issues related to providing medical assistance and to the presence of Ombudsman representatives at court hearings.
The interviewees specified that they had no complaints related to detention conditions in the remand prison.
