Twenty-three convicts serving sentences in DPR prisons, as a response to their requests, were transferred to the Ukrainian side today.
“The transfer of convicts to serve their sentences in Ukraine took place without incident,” the press service of the DPR Ombudsman’s Office noted.
The transfer of convicts is carried out in line with the Decree of the DPR Head of March 12, 2015 “On the transfer of convicts serving sentences in penitentiary institutions of the DPR and their criminal files kept in the courts and investigative bodies of the DPR to the territory of Ukraine”.
