The Ombudsman Office in cooperation with the acting provost of the M. Gorky Donetsk National Medical University facilitate organizing sporting activities for persons released from Ukrainian captivity on 27.12.2017, who live in Temporary Accommodation Centres.
With a view to an early rehabilitation and adaptation of former prisoners of war to a peaceful life, as well as to help them maintain their physical health, they were given an opportunity to do sports in the gym of an educational institution.
The gym is very popular among men and women. They can do boxing, use exercise equipment, do crunches either on pads on a wall bar, play table tennis, basketball, and football free-of-charge.
