Persons released from Ukrainian captivity are in dire need of support and assistance from the Republic. Thus, a former prisoner of war who returned to the Republic as a result of the exchange of December 27, 2017, is currently on inpatient treatment at the Professor G.V. Bondar Republican Cancer Centre and unable to walk independently. Therefore, the DPR Ombudsman Office assisted the man in obtaining the documents necessary for social payments.
