The activities of the Ombudsman are intended to identify and suppress facts of violation of human rights and freedoms. Citizens of the Republic can apply to the Ombudsman by all ways convenient for them.
Between 14 and 20 April 2018, 62 persons received counselling by the Appeals Department, 22 citizens received counselling by the Working Group on Issues of Temporary Displaced Persons, and 17 persons received legal counselling.
Also, 4 written appeals were approved for consideration, 11 – have been reviewed among those received earlier. 19 calls were received via hotlines, 18 applications were received via e-mail.
Since the beginning of 2018, the Ombudsman received 2009 appeals.
