On the eve of the meeting of the humanitarian subgroup I would like to note that the implementation of paragraph 6 of Minsk Agreements (release of all illegally detained persons by Ukraine and “all-for-all” exchange) is one of the main items of the agenda.
I emphasize that the Donetsk People’s Republic is more than ready for implementation of this paragraph. Our opponents, however, permanently delay the procedure.
I hope that Ukrainian representatives will find the resolve to unblock the exchange process, and the negotiations will get off the ground. Everything depends on the political will of the President of Ukraine.
I call upon the Ukrainian side to show humanism and mercy not only to the DPR supporters, who languish in prisons, but also to their own people, and to perform the long-awaited “all-for-all” exchange on the eve of New Year and Christmas Holidays.
