Ukraine has turned into such a useless and untenable state which is terribly afraid of responsibility for the events of 2014-2015 in Donbass. Today, official Kiev is trying to hide the ugly truth about the conflict in the region by all means. The truth about the merciless massacres of the AFU and the national battalions against the civilian population, about the mass killings of women, the elderly and children, about executions for dissent, about the robberies, torture and brutal violence, about the motivation of impunity.
Over 9 thousand residents of the Republics of Donbass were brutally killed during the punitive operation in Kiev. And this is only official data. It is a shocking figure for the civilized society. But for the Ukrainian authorities it is extremely inconvenient data enough that in an attempt to refute it, Kiev does not refrain from anything. Moreover, it mocks the memory of the dead.
After last week the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case on the discovery of mass unmarked graves of victims of Ukrainian aggression in Donbass, Ukrainian television exploded with a “revealing sensation”. According to them, there are no spontaneous burials. And Kiev explained the presence of relevant photo and video evidence by the operation of the special services of the Russian Federation. Allegedly, representatives of the Investigative Committee specially exhume the corpses of the military in Donetsk and Luhansk in order to pass them off as civilian victims as a result of shelling by the AFU.
The appearance of such insinuations speaks of only one thing – the Kiev authorities have agony, because this lie is easily refuted by literally four theses.
First. Exhumation activities in the DPR and LPR have been carried out since the first days of the conflict in the region. That’s not news. Moreover, the search for missing persons and the identification of unidentified bodies are among the tasks of the Working Group on Humanitarian Issues of the Minsk Contact Group.
Second. Within the framework of the Minsk platform, we have repeatedly called on the Ukrainian side to join the search work, since there are missing people and spontaneous unmarked burials on both sides of the contact line. However, Kiev has been ignoring relevant initiatives for seven years now.
Third. In the Donbass Republics, the tasks of establishing the names and fates of the victims of Ukrainian aggression are solved at the state level. Search activities in the DPR and LPR are carried out by special republican bodies, the creation of which was publicly announced in August 2021.
Fourth. All exhumation activities are held in the presence of representatives of international humanitarian organizations working in the region, as well as the media, which record the ongoing activities.
I note that I am even pleased with the hysterical reaction of the Ukrainian authorities to some extent. This means that they are scared, and we, fixing the evidence of the crimes of the Kiev regime, are moving in the right direction. I would like to emphasize that all Kiev’s fears are justified, because we will not stop and make the perpetrators to answer for every death in Donbass. War crimes have no statute of limitations. Justice will be done. Moreover, I do not exclude that it will be already in Kiev free from the fascist regime.
