Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation will take comprehensive measures to establish and procedurally record facts of crimes of AFU in Donbass

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin instructed the heads of the Main Investigative Department, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Rostov Region, as well as the heads of other regional investigative departments of the Investigative Committee of Russia, on the service territory of which refugees from Donbass will arrive, to take comprehensive measures to establish and procedurally record the criminal actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory Donbass. The relevant information was published today on the official website of the Committee.

“Experienced investigators and criminologists, based on the testimonies of victims and witnesses of the actions of Ukrainian military personnel will form an evidentiary basis that will help to expose and subsequently bring to justice all those responsible,” the Investigative Committee stated in the statement.

Also, on behalf of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, employees of the Main Investigation Department and forensic specialists from the central office were sent to Rostov. They were instructed to promptly organize and further coordinate the work of the headquarters of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Rostov region. The main task of the headquarters is to record evidence of the crimes of the AFU in the territory of Donbass and inform the head of the department about the current situation timely.
