Donetsk Regional Clinical Territorial Medical Association is a multidisciplinary medical and preventive institution, one of the leading in the Republic. A modern diagnostic base is concentrated here, the most complex operations are carried out, children are born, doctors save the lives of those who suffered from the shelling of the AFU… And now this facility is an aim for Ukrainian Grads.
Several buildings of the Kalinin hospital were damaged as a result of direct hits. There are dead and wounded. Apparently, in the war with the civilian population of Donbass, the Kyiv terrorists found a new “worthy opponent” – doctors and patients.
The enemy violates not only all the requirements of international humanitarian law, but also neglects the elementary norms of morality and humanity. And all this under the tacit approval of the “civilized world”.
Targeted shelling of hospitals, kindergartens, schools is nothing less than outright acts of genocide. I have prepared corresponding letters to the UN and the ICRC. And we demand that the international community expresses a clear position on the situation in Donbass and gives a proper legal assessment of Kyiv’s actions.
