IMPLEMENTATION OF PLANNED PROJECTS WILL ALLOW TO INCREASE EFFICIENCY OF SEARCH ACTIVITIES IN THE REPUBLIC – DARIA MOROZOVA

Comments and statements of the Ombudsman News

Today I took part in a meeting of the Headquarters for coordinating the search and archival work of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation under the leadership of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin. During the event, the results of the work of the Headquarters for 2022 were summed up and the upcoming tasks were outlined.

In my speech, I shared with the colleagues the experience of organizing search activities in the conditions of hostilities. I described the specifics of the work of the Interdepartmental Commission on the search for missing persons, the search for burial places of the bodies (remains) of the deceased (dead) in areas of armed conflict in Donbass, as well as about the expansion of its functions in the conditions of the SMO and the organization of events to establish the fate of the victims of Ukrainian aggression.

It turned out to be a productive dialogue, within the framework of which the goals and work plan for 2023 were determined. I am sure that the implementation of the planned projects will increase the efficiency of search activities in the Republic, and also contribute to the establishment of new facts of Ukraine’s war crimes in Donbass.
