Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic facilitates for employment of affected citizens

One of the activities of the DPR Ombudsman Daria Morozova is assisting people affected as a result of the military conflict in Donbass, facilitate their socialization and adaptation to normal life.  Assisting these people in employment is an important part of this work. It improves the quality of their lives, helps reduce social tension and improve the humanitarian situation in the Republic.

On 12 November, at the social housing object located in Donetsk (6 Rosa Luxemburg Str.), representatives of Ombudsman Office conducted a training and retraining consultation for women over the age of 18 to facilitate their further employment.

As a result of cooperation between the Ombudsman Office and the Republican Employment Centre, affected citizens receive advice on career choice, as well as assistance in searching for vacancies, employment and retraining.

Daria Morozova organised visits by affected citizens of the republic-wide job fairs, facilitated by the Republican Employment Centre. The job fairs provide the opportunity to talk to employers or their representatives and to obtain job referrals.  Every Tuesday from 10 am to 1 pm there is a public reception for employment issues in the Republican Employment Centre.
