Human Rights Ombudsman in Donetsk People’s Republic facilitates better living conditions for affected persons

Since the beginning of the conflict, DPR Ombudsman provides all-round assistance to citizens who suffer from injuries or material damage as a result of hostilities, as well as to people persecuted by other states for supporting the Donetsk People’s Republic.

On 23 November, living conditions of affected persons, who live in a social housing object at the address Flotskaya 1a, Donetsk, were improved with the assistance of Ombudsman Office.    The following household appliances have been delivered to the housing objects: a washing machine, electric stoves and a 100-litre boiler.

Also, representatives of the DPR Human Rights Ombudsman’s Office delivered humanitarian aid that included food and hygiene products. 110 affected persons, who live in social housing objects in Shakhtyorsk, Yenakievo, Makeyevka and Starobeshevo region, received humanitarian relief.

The humanitarian assistance is being provided with the help of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
