The Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic Daria Morozova held a working meeting with the Head of the Donetsk Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Cyril Joren.
The meeting discussed the provision of assistance to relatives of missing persons and the possibility of improving living conditions in social housing objects.
Daria Morozova told about the process of consideration of the legal aspects of organizing the search for missing persons at meetings of the Humanitarian Subgroup. She also expressed her gratitude to the Head of the Donetsk ICRC Office for providing humanitarian assistance to persons affected by the armed conflict living in social housing objects of the Republic.
Cyril Joren thanked the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic for close attention to issues of violation of international humanitarian law and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
