The DPR Human Rights Ombudsman Daria Morozova told about the reaction of residents of Donbass areas controlled by Ukraine to the decision to start the implementation of the humanitarian program for the reunification of Donbass people in an exclusive interview with the correspondent of the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“At first people were confused, no one understood what kind of program it was and how it works. When our employees started to explain the rights those people have and the kind of assistance they can receive, people realized that they are cared for and not forgotten. And this is particularly relevant in the situation that has developed in Ukraine today”, – the Ombudsman explained.
At the same time, Daria Morozova highlighted that the residents of Ukraine-controlled areas of Donbass can receive high-quality assistance free of charge in the territory of the DPR, if it is unavailable in the settlements under the jurisdiction of Kiev.
