Greetings from Daria Morozova on the Universal Children’s Day

News

On that day in 1959, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, and in 1989 it adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child that obliges all countries to provide a good life and a happy childhood for children.

This Day is dedicated to protecting the rights of children throughout the world. Children are the meaning of life, they are our future. Children like no one else need the protection and support of adults. The Government of the Donetsk People’s Republic makes every effort to protect the rights and freedoms of children and seeks to create favorable conditions for development of the younger generation. We are doing everything possible so that children would grow up happy and would never worry about adult problems. Children are defenseless, therefore, we, adults, must surround them with care, attention, love and support.

I wholeheartedly wish that every child on the planet Earth be healthy, happy and cheerful. May sincere children’s smiles brighten the World!
