Greeting from Daria Morozova on Miner’s Day

News

I wholeheartedly congratulate workers and veterans of the mining industry!

The Miner’s Day is a special holiday for all inhabitants of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The destiny of many of our families is inextricably linked with a mine, and black gold is the most valuable recourse of the state. Coal is a key to the success of economic development of the Republic, its energetic security and sovereignty.

Since early childhood we respect miner’s labor, admire the bravery and cohesion of people, working in coal mining. In modern realities, miners have proved to be the real heroes. It’s hard to imagine what it cost to save and develop the mining industry in conditions of armed actions and economic blockade.

Dear miners, thank you for defending the industry and continuing to perform daily feats of labour for the future of the Republic. Millions of people feel calm, have light and warm because of your work.

I wish you peace, happiness, affluence and welfare! I wish you soft coal, solid roof, successful and safe shifts! Let the quantity of downhill is always equal to a number of departures.
