Dear veterans and compatriots, I sincerely congratulate you on the Day of Donbass Liberation from fascist invaders!
This day is especially important for all of us. The unforgettable feat of our ancestors not only gave future generations the opportunity to live and develop, but is also an inspiration for those who are fighting against fascism now.
Today, as before, the residents of Donbass stood up to defend their homeland and all sacred things that someone tried to take away from us – our historical memory, spiritual and cultural values. Heroic feats and strength, devotion to duty and selfless service for the benefit of the Motherland shown by front-line soldiers and home front workers during the Great Patriotic War, are our examples to follow and be guided by. This memory gives us strength to resist aggression and contribute to the restoration and revival of our homeland.
We bow our heads to the liberators and defenders of Donbass. We express sincere gratitude to the faithful followers of the sacred mission of the fight against fascism in all its forms and manifestations today. I wish you, dear compatriots, good health, resilience and perseverance on the road to victory and the long-awaited peace. Let’s prove to be worthy of the heroism and glory of our ancestors!
