Dear residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic! I sincerely congratulate you on the Day of the Proclamation of the Republic!
Exactly 6 years ago, on 7 April, in the session hall of the former Donetsk Regional Council, the Declaration of Sovereignty of the Donetsk People’s Republic was adopted, and the Act of State Independence was signed. The adoption of these historical documents marked the birth of the DPR as a new independent state!
The world has seen what the great people of Donbas are capable of over the past six years. We managed to withstand the war, restore the economy and build a real state of free people who are able to decide for themselves how to live and in what language to speak. We bravely and decisively overcame all the challenges and now we must unite again in order to win!
