Dear Crimea residents, I sincerely congratulate you on the Day of Crimea’s Reunification with Russia
In March 2014, the Crimean peninsula and the city of Sevastopol joined the Russian Federation and became one of its constituent entities. Crimeans made a historical choice in favour of unity with Russia.
The Day of Crimea’s Reunification with Russia embodies the unity of the multinational peninsula, the community of historical traditions and values, the memory of the heroic past of the republic, as well as the desire for prosperity and peace.
The “Crimean Spring” brought people confidence that patriotism is always there in the heart of every Russian. You showed the whole world that free people live in Crimea, who cannot be deceived, intimidated or bribed, and who cannot be defeated. You have shown true democracy to all nations in the world.
I sincerely congratulate you on this bright holiday! I wish all Crimeans happiness, success, peace and well-being!
