Greeting from Daria Morozova on Consumer Rights Day

News

All people consume goods and services every day. It was generally recognized that it is necessary to ensure adequate consumer protection by state bodies and human rights organizations, which is carried out in line with international and national regulations.

In the Donetsk People’s Republic, this important issue is given special attention. Back in 2015, the Law On Protection of Consumer Rights came into force. In order to implement it and monitor its performance, the Consumer Protection Inspectorate has been created. “People’s control” takes active part in identifying most acute issues. In addition, measures are being successfully implemented in the field of standardization and certification, as well as to ensure and provide guarantees of the proper quality of products manufactured in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Thanks to these measures, in the context of military and political and social and economic confrontation, the Donetsk People’s Republic has been able to protect its internal markets from low-quality products, aiming to meet the highest international standards.

I express my sincere gratitude to all those who remain committed to ensuring the proper quality of products and services, as well as those who protect the rights of consumers. Your work contributes not only to improving the standard of living in the Donetsk People’s Republic, but also to improving its image in the international arena.

May the relations between manufacturers, sellers and buyers are always based on the principles of mutual understanding and respect, because those are crucial to building a prosperous and well-off society, to which we strive.
