Five civilian victims reported to DPR Ombudsman Office previous week

Last week Ukrainian forces once again violated ceasefire, which has caused new civilian victims in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Between 10 and 16 August 2018, 5 persons (4 DPR servicemen and 1 civilian woman) were injured in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic as a result of Ukrainian armed aggression. During the reporting period, no casualties reported among civilians and servicemen in the Republic.

Between 1 January and 16 August 2018, 222 persons received injuries in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic as a result of armed aggression by Ukraine. Of them, there are 138 DPR servicemen, 53 civilian men, 29 civilian women and 2 underage children. Within the specified period, 106 people have been killed, including 8 women and 98 men, including 2 underage children.

Since the beginning of the conflict in the Donetsk People’s Republic, 4673 people were killed, including 613 women and 4060 men, including 78 underage children.
