Fake news from Ukrainian ombudsman fuel conflict in Donbass – Daria Morozova

Comments and statements of the Ombudsman News Ombudsman

Instead of taking proper response measures in the critical situation with human rights in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Ombudsman continues to spread fakes about the Republics of Donbass.

At first, Denisova distributed disinformation that our citizens leaving the territory of the Republic for evacuation live without water and food for days. Now, from Kiev, she saw the “raids” in our cities in connection with the mobilization. Ms Denisova also claims that even children are subject to conscription in the DPR and LPR. Taking into account that The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights has compromised herself more than once with false statements about Donbass, we expect new amazing stories from the series “they eat kittens”.

It is obvious that a person simply does not understand what responsibility a human rights activist should be responsible for every word, especially in view of the security situation in the country. Such self-promotion is now not only inappropriate, but also fuels hatred and conflict in the region.

There is basically nothing to comment on here. The authorities of the Republics of Donbass are carrying out a large-scale evacuation of the civilian population and mobilization activities now. It should be reminded that all these measures have become a necessity in connection with the sharply increased threat of a full-scale military operation from Kiev.

At the same time, all information and legal and regulatory instruments relating to evacuation and mobilization in the DPR and LPR are on public access on official republican resources. I recommend that Ukrainian speakers study the subject before making any statements.
