The charity project “Kitchen Z” has completed its work in the DPR. It was aimed at catering in the street food format for the population living in combat conditions and participants of the special operation.
For four weeks, the team of the kitchen on wheels, equipped with mobile ovens, worked in various settlements of the Republic. Donetsk, Donskoye, Debaltsevo, Ilovaisk, Kirovskoye, Makeyevka, Mariupol, Shakhtyorsk… During this time, the cooks made and distributed 7,650 servings.
The people, living in the temporary accommodation centres, and residents of the front-line territories were able to taste “Dishes Z”. Also, “Kitchen Z” handed over kits to our defenders at the front line. Volunteers held culinary master classes for children, during which the children themselves learned how to cook burgers.
The project was designed not only to provide tasty food, but also to morally support the residents of Donbass.
I should say that when a group of volunteers from Moscow and Chelyabinsk shared the idea of launching “Kitchen Z” with me, I supported this initiative with pleasure. We provided comprehensive assistance to the project team. And I sincerely thank everyone involved.
