DPR OMBUDSMAN TOOK THE INITIATIVE TO INCLUDE PERIODS OF FILLING POSITIONS IN THE STATE CIVIL SERVICE OF UKRAINE AND THE DPR IN THE LENGTH OF SERCIVE OF THE STATE CIVIL SERVICE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Legislation News

I regularly monitor the observance of labor rights of citizens, including government civil servants. As part of this work, I found out the need to eliminate gaps in the current legislation. We are talking about resolving the issue of including in the length of service of the state civil service of the Russian Federation periods of filling positions in the state civil service of Ukraine and the Donetsk People’s Republic.

In this regard, I took the initiative to the Federal Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova to amend the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of October 19, 2007 No. 1532 “On the calculation of the length of service of the state civil service of the Russian Federation to establish a monthly allowance for civil servants of the Russian Federation to the official salary for long service in the public civil service of the Russian Federation, determining the duration of additional annual paid leave for long service and the amount of incentives for impeccable and efficient public service “in terms of including periods of filling public civil service positions in state bodies and local governments of Ukraine and the Donetsk People’s Republic until September 30, 2022 in the length of service of the state civil service of the Russian Federation.

My proposals were heard and recognized as relevant not only for civil servants of the Donetsk People’s Republic, but also for the Lugansk People’s Republic, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Now the issue of making appropriate changes is under consideration by the Government of the Russian Federation.

I hope that President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will support this initiative.
