The DPR Ombudsman Daria Morozova says she is accepting appeals from residents of the territories, which are temporarily under control of Kyiv, about the crimes of Ukrainian militants and the Ukrainian authorities.
“We are not just ready to accept appeals from residents of the territories of the Republic temporarily under control of Ukraine, we are already doing it. These are both written appeals by e-mail, and calls to “hot” lines. People report facts of violation of their rights and freedoms by the Ukrainian authorities, war crimes committed by AFU units based in their cities. We record every appeal, every fact. After the transition of these territories under the actual jurisdiction of the DPR, the illegal actions of Ukraine in relation to this category of citizens will be given a proper legal assessment. And all the information received from local residents will complement the evidence base of Ukraine’s war crimes in Donbass,” she said.
