DPR Ombudsman Office receives two appeals on detention in Ukraine

Last week, two appeals on detention by Ukrainian security agencies were received by the Human Rights Ombudsman Office in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The detainees are two men. One of them was detained in May 2015. The other one, born in 1974, was detained in July 2018 by officers of the Security Service of Ukraine.

According to the latest data, the Ukrainian side is holding 282 persons, including 82 of those whose presence in the territory of Ukraine has been confirmed; and 200 persons, on whom information lacks or is to be specified by the Ukrainian side.
